Let's go Fishing!

FishJax Charters provides a variety of fishing charters in Northeast Florida, from inshore, nearshore, and offshore we offer world class saltwater fishing. The waters around Jacksonville are home a variety of species to target depending on the season.

We provide water, ice, and cooler space for any additional beverages and snacks you bring. We encourage all anglers to bring polarized sunglasses, hats, and non spray sunscreen.

All bait and tackle is provided. Conventional trips will use Accurate and Shimano reels with a combination of rods from Star and G Loomis.  We have a selection of fly reels from Hatch, paired with rods from Sage and G Loomis. You're welcome to bring your own equipment or try some of ours for the day. 

Inshore trips are primarily dictated by tides and time of year. We can be flexible inshore depending on your schedule.

Summertime nearshore trips are early morning to midday so we are back at the dock before our seasonal afternoon thunderstorms.

Offshore trips are typically 5:30am to 5:30pm. We primarily fish 50-70 miles from Mayport inlet targeting Mutton Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Gag Grouper, Scamp Grouper, Triggerfish, Cobia, Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and many more! This is the fill the cooler option and on any of our 12 hour trips you will need to bring a cooler to take your meat home in!
